A couple of days late

But it's still my favourite Palm Sunday poem:

G.K. Chesterton

When fishes flew and forests walked
And figs grew upon thorn,
Some moment when the moon was blood
Then surely I was born;

With monstrous head and sickening cry
And ears like errant wings,
The devil's walking parody
On all four-footed things.

The tattered outlaw of the earth,
Of ancient crooked will;
Starve, scourge, deride me: I am dumb,
I keep my secret still.

Fools! For I also had my hour;
One far fierce hour and sweet:
There was a shout about my ears,
And palms before my feet.

I love that one!

By the way I wanted to let you know that I cooked the broccoli recipe you talked about a while ago. One of my sons said, "I like the broccoli better than the steak" and another person in this house, who is married to me, said "I can't believe I actually like broccoli" Wow ...

Hope you and your family have a blessed Triduum and Easter season.

I feel smug. No good reason- it wasn't my recipe. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Blessed Easter to you and all your family!
