Geoff and I have been analyzing the Toy Story movies to death, probably because we've been watching them every single day for a couple of months, now. We particularly like the themes of attachment/detachment in Toy Story 3, with the bear who assumes that any toy's first business should be to avoid loving a child, because love leas to loss and suffering.
We may be overthinking it due to saturation. I wish Thomas would let us watch something else without crying, pointing at the screen, and shouting, "Buzz! Buzz! Woody!".
I'd feel guilty about the amount of TV if the weather were nicer outside. As it is, we're pretty much stuck until it gets warmer, and when it gets warmer, we'll be outside a lot. Until July, when we'll resume hiding in our house.
