The weekend is over, the children are all still alive, and Geoff spent a couple of hours yesterday afternoon digging everything up in the front garden, killing the mulberry bush that we hate, and excavating the beginnings of a path across our lawn. The really impressive part is that he did most of it with Thomas and Nat assisting, which means while chasing Thomas down the street, and bringing him back over and over.
My big accomplishment while this was happening was laundry and making dinner, which was pasta with broccoli and Italian sausage. It was good. The outside work is more impressive.
I have my complicated-by-childcare dentist's appointment today, plus our dentist is in the building Geoff works at, so we are not going to be permitted to leave without introducing the girls to all his co-workers.
A congested, probably dirty baby is calling me.
