I just picked a salad spinner full of lemon balm, to freeze for tea in the winter. I could dry it but I like the taste of fresh. I should also pick the mint. The nasturtiums and lemon balm have gone insane:

Nat, to me: Four and five make nine, and so do three and six.

I made a cake yesterday that I want to record, although I didn't measure much- cup of butter, cup and a half of sugar, three eggs, beat everything together. Add two cups pureed dried apricots, a teaspoon of baking powder, three cups flour, teaspoon almond extract, beat. Bake at 325 until done.

It is terrific.
