Why aren't children sympathetic?

Woke up with gastric problems and feeling sick and shaky and miserable, with a bad headache, and the terrible children still expected breakfast and picking up and diaper changes and deep interest in their conversation, which is mostly about bugs, sea creatures, and Minecraft. The bad thing about being sick while nursing twins is that even if I feel awful and really don't want to eat my blood sugar plummets if I don't at least keep a continuous sugary-drink-imbibing schedule.

No new cephalopod developments, although Nat was telling the ladies who were helping babysit last night about the varieties of squid and cuttlefish. They were of course impressed, because everyone loves cuttlefish.

what's not to love?

I think I copied that very same cuttlefish to a screensaver so Charlie could look at it when he was a baby. No really. Not a joke.

Do you think that squid and cuttlefish are more interesting than cars and trucks? In our house, we spend hours, daily, aerrating the carpet, table, and bed surface with toy vehicles. At least he's blissfully happy while we are driving.

Heh. We fly the TARDIS around and talk about Pixar movies.

How old is Charlie? Is he younger than Nat?
