Leftover cake

If you happen to have leftover stale chocolate cake and croissants and then find some very hard marzipan, I recommend that you use all of it to make bread pudding, especially if you add chocolate chips and almond extract. And cream.

Creamed mushrooms on toast for lunch.

I just smushed a centipede in the basement. I am woman- hear me roar.

That recipe really sounds great. I wish I had even one of those things.

That sounds very low-cal. And by that, I mean I gained 5 lbs just reading the description.
(Also, leftover cake? I've never heard of such a thing.)

I bought five kilograms of Nutella on Saturday. I am not into low-cal right now.

I almost put Nutella in the pudding but then even I thought that was excessive.

Izz, leftover cake is what you get when you have baked two two-layer heavily iced chocolate cakes in two weeks, and even you are tired of cake for breakfast.

I shuddered at the centipede, even from half a continent away. I hate centipedes! I've tried repeatedly to convince our cat that her job is to kill them, but she doesn't want any part of that either. I'm impressed with your bug-killing fortitude.

I hate centipedes but I was also annoyed and stressed, and it was satisfying to smush the dratted thing.
