So much stuff

I have so many boxes and bins of hand-me-down clothes, and I am so conflicted about what to do with them. If we have another child they might be useful... or we might just be letting huge piles of clothes useful to others languish in our basement.

What should we do with them?

Pass them on. Baby clothes are a community resource, and, as a Yiddish saying goes, every child is born with a loaf of bread under his arm. You'll get them when you need them.

This is true. I just don't know anyone expecting right now! I could donate them to the thrift store but I'd rather give them to someone.

Build a golem out of them!

But will the goem be able to make latkes? We like latkes.

We have a storybook about the Golem which is sort of a Jewish Sorcerer's Apprentice riff. We've been reading it a lot.
