It's after six, and the girls are ready for their morning ritual of doll-stroller-pushing. Right now their dolls are their overwhelming obsession- they spend a good quarter of their awake time undressing their babies, taking them for walks,, putting blankets on them, putting them down for naps in makeshift beds. They collaborate on childcare. They try to make sure there are two baby dolls per stroller, because twins make sense.
I forgive them for getting up just after five.
